Festival Weekend!

Although I'm a little sad that summer is over, I do love Fall and all of the wonderful festivals that it brings!  We went to the Perry County Council of the Arts Festival with Steve's parents on Saturday.  Jack got to paint a lovely picture, and he participated in a music activity.  He LOVED the activities with music!  He danced, played instruments, and had the biggest grin on his face!
Their favorite activity though was the baby pools filled with corn!  Rhea was a little unsure about it, but she loved it once she started playing!

Momma and Daddy's favorite part was the food though.  Mmmmm.....we had spring rolls, hemp pretzels, and homemade ice cream (even though it was freezing outside!)  We also visited the mill and covered bridge that the kids enjoyed.  Jack loves bridges because of his love of trains!

I love this picture :-)!

Going to all of these festivals is exhausting!  The second festival was a Harvest Festival at Kings Gap.  We took a hay ride and made a leaf print.  Pretty fun stuff!

For your viewing pleasure, I thought I would include these funny pictures after the kids were on the trampoline and had a few issues with static electricity :-).

What a sweet lil' momma.  She loves her little baby!

We made Jack his own ice cream (dairy free).  It was good :-).
Stephen couldn't wait to give Jack his birthday present.  I came out of my room and there was Jack riding his new bike....lol!  Needless to say, he loves it!  He and Stephen went outside and rode their bikes together.

Yeah...it's a work in progress.  He's getting better already!  It's a balance bike to help him develop coordination and, you guessed it, balance!  I'll have to post a new video once he's better :-).
